Tanzania Investment Development

Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa and shares borders with Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia.  Tanzania has 1,424 km of coastline on the Indian Ocean and is the largest nation in the East Africa, both in land area and population. There is a varied topography with a narrow coastal belt with tropical beaches, plateau covered by savanna and bush, a Rift Valley and unparalleled views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.  There are three major seaports and various fresh water lakes.

Over the past two decades, Tanzania has been transformed from a centrally planned/command economy to a market oriented system through successful implementation of trade liberalization measures. The Government has taken deliberate steps to encourage private sector led growth.

The new African Green Footprints Business and Investment Platform approach is already assisting Enterprise, Fund managers and individual investors to add business or property assets in Tanzania to their portfolios.  We are ready to give you the benefit of our local expertise and guidance to take full advantage of the positive and fundamentally different business and investment climate that is spreading across Central and Eastern Africa.  We have identified several additional, unique and promising Tanzanian investment vehicles that fit within our return on investment model and which we feel will yield significant, long term returns.

Visit the Tanzania Investment Center for a description of the very favorable incentives the government offers to the investor.
