Educational Development
and School Construction

The educational aspects of our approach will focus on two activities.  The first project will be to assist with the construction of community schools where possible and feasible.  Part of our small business development projects will be a series of brick making operations to support the region wide school building activities.

The second main element of our activities will be supporting educational programs for basic education, on-the-job livelihood skills training and University training and exchange programs.  Distanced learning cooperation with other high schools and Universities in the EU and US are being developed to assist with these educational activities.  We will facilitate our on-the-job training and educational exchange programs with the cooperation of the Economics University of Bratislava, Slovakia and the EU Erasmus Mundus Program.

Our goal is to be able to raise the number of students who can enter schooling at all levels.  Currently in the DR Congo and most of Central Africa only 30% of the children can attend school.  Education is a vital component of the future success of Central Africa and is therefore a major element of our effort.
